Django (pronunciation: /ˈdʒæŋgoː/, JANG-goh) is an open source web application framework, written in Python. This workshop aims to equip beginner-to-intermediate level (Python) programmers with practical knowledge of a powerful and flexible open source framework with the primary goal of aiding participants with the ability to create (complex) database-driven websites. At the workshop, you will experience how Django emphasizes reusability and "pluggability" of components, rapid development and the principle of DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself). You will have fun and see your first web application on your local machine in the first 1 hour.
